For individuals and couples

Picture of someone using a laptop My secure and private Zoom meeting room is available for online counselling sessions. I have a strong internet service, so we can work together smoothly and without interruption.

For couples, you don't have to both be in the same place, my Zoom room can hold 3 of us.

Please contact me direct for bookings (details also given at the top of each page). Fees are listed here.

Regular availability for online sessions

I'm available online from my Dartington therapy room all day Tuesday / Thursday / Friday, and during school hours Monday / Wednesday - for either online or face-to-face sessions. Picture of someone on a Zoom call using their laptop

I also have an 8pm online only slot on Mondays and Wednesdays.

Typical advantages to online sessions

  • Ultimate convenience: eliminate commuting, parking, and travel expenses by logging in safely from your own home or office.

  • Comfort and familiarity: being in your own space can make it easier to open up and discuss vulnerable topics.

  • Flexibility: ideal if your work is busy, you've got parenting responsibilities, or transport issues.

Whether you prefer my welcoming therapy room or connecting comfortably online, you receive the exact same high standard of professional care.

Many clients choose a blended approach - meeting in-person initially or when possible, and shifting seamlessly to video sessions when life is busier or travel harder.

Alternatives to Zoom are possible

If needed, alternative platforms such as Google Meet, WhatsApp, Skype or Whereby (use in your browser, no app to install), are also possible.

Is online therapy as effective as being in-person?

Clinical research confirms that online video therapy is just as effective as traditional in-person sessions for the majority of common mental health difficulties

Picture of a couple on a Zoom call While the physical environment changes, the foundational core of therapy - trust, attunement, skilful and proven approaches, and human connection - translates well through a screen.

However, in-person you may feel differently, as such things as eye contact and that mystical energetic communication that goes between people, is bound to be stronger without a screen. You may even prefer it feeling less intense in this way.
